Eric J. Pearson, Principal, is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with 15+ years of successful history working in the casino industry. Having started working as a Busperson in the casinos of Laughlin, Nevada at the age of 16 and working his way through the ranks to casino President & CEO, Eric provides an unparalleled perspective into the gaming industry from all levels. It is with this knowledge he is able to provide unique leadership and perspective to solve any problems facing an organization - from financial performance to cultural evolution.
Before establishing his own consulting practice, Copper Star Gaming, he was the President & CEO of Valley Forge Resort & Casino in King of Prussia, PA. He was responsible for development, operations and financial performance for the resort and casino. He was hired to turn the property around and achieve specific goals to facilitate the sale of the property. In under 18 months, he drove year-over-year growth by more than 30% - successfully leaving at the close of the sale to Boyd Gaming at a 12X multiple of EBITDA in September 2018.
In the years prior, Eric was the Vice President of Gaming and Revenue Enhancement at Foxwoods Resort & Casino, the largest casino in North America. In this role, he was responsible for Slot Operations, Strategic Marketing, Online Gaming, Loyalty Marketing, Database Marketing, CRM/BI, Special Events and Promotions, Bingo Operations and Amusements Operations. While at Foxwoods, Eric developed the highly successful Foxwoods Online social online casino platform. He also was charged with realigning and relaunching the massive players club program, Foxwoods Rewards.
From 2011-2014, Eric led many successful initiatives at Northern Quest Resort & Casino as the Vice President of Gaming. During his time there, Eric directly managed Slot Operations, Table Games Operations, Marketing & Advertising, DatabaseMarketing, Resort & Casino Security, Players Club Operations and Casino Host Operations.
